All eyes were turned to Cannes Lions this week, as the best and brightest of the advertising and creative worlds met in southern France to see who would take home the glory. A Grand Prix (the competition’s highest honor) was awarded in all but one category this year, with the Film and Outdoor categories naming two winners each. Proctor & Gamble had a great year in particular, taking home the two Film Grand Prix for their “It’s a Tide Ad” and “The Talk”.

By all accounts Cannes Lions 2018 was a big success, but there was plenty more going on in the world of advertising. Let’s take a look at what else made news this week in the world of marketing.
