As crazy as marketing news has been these past couple months, this week can be considered a somewhat slow one. Facebook’s stock price downswing and Amazon’s Prime Day are now in the rear view mirror, leaving us with time to take a look at Adweek’s 2018 Power List. The list, published annually, ranks the top 100 CEOs in tech, marketing, and more. It’s not too shocking to see the heads of Amazon and Facebook at the top (we just can’t escape them), nor is Google’s Larry Page a surprise. Still there are some surprises here, with Ikea’s Jesper Brodin mixing it up with the likes of Elon Musk and Tim Cook.
